Fracked Landscape #2

The landscape is composed of living non-carbon based coral-like rock, but the mining colonists don't know it, and they happily drill away.The colony fills in any carved out rock with processing plants. In the foreground, a surveyor is preparing a drilling operation on a new rock. A foreboding classic sci-fi movie scenario looms: "Something Bad Happens When They Drill Too Deep. Deep Space Miners.
