Mining Corporations

Mining corporations in deep outer space have setup colonies to mine resources. The only problem is that its kind of like the wild west in these frontiers (ala Firefly the tv series)and corporations are willing to do anything to secure these resources. They tap into black market weapons dealers who retrofit their mining vehicles with weapons and scavenged material. The ships are outfitted with variable angle thrusters that operate like vtol aircraft like the osprey or harrier.

The mood boards show my inspiration. You take the detailing of weapons, their material and color contrasts and mash it with rugged chunky silhouette of construction vehicles. The weapon systems look kitbashed on as if they replaced crane arms and other typical construction vehicle gear.
